If considering Puerto Ayora as a base, establish where each excursion starts and whether it returns the same evening. Balance independent town time with visits elsewhere. A room reservation does not itself provide access to every visitor site in the archipelago.
Read the expedition as a whole
Route, cabin, participation conditions, included services and change arrangements should be assessed together. Avoid choosing only by the number of nights or one landscape photograph. Look at the programme’s overall approach rather than treating a particular wildlife encounter as a guaranteed outcome.
